I wasn’t supposed to be out.Nurse: Ok, but I need you to tell me what happened.Nicole: Ok, see I was walking my dog, but he ran away so I had to chase after him he came back but his leash got twisted around my legs and he pulled me down a set of stairs. *lying so she doesn’t get her father introuble.*Nurse ok lets get you into the x-ray room.They go.Back with Sarah and NickNick and Sarah are laying on a beg watching T.v and kissing but some one walks in on them. Startling them, so they break apart.Frankie: Am I interrupting something?Nick and Sara: *Hesitantly* No, no of course not, why?Frankie: Oh I was just looking for Joe, I can’t find him or Kevin anywhere, but by the looks on your faces it looks like u saw a ghost.Nick: Oh, naw u just startled us. Joe and Kevin are off with a couple of girls.Frankie: Aw man, everybody’s got a girl except me.Nick: Don’t worry about it man, Ur still young.Frankie Leaves.Nick: Now that he mentioned it, it has been awhile, maybe ill call Kevin, see what’s up.Sara: Good idea.On the Phone (Nick and Kevin)Nick: Hey Kevin, what’s going on, where are you, your cars gone.Kevin: You know Nicole? So we followed them home, and realized that her dad was beating her, were at the health center now. Speaking of which, here comes the nurse, ill talk to you later man.Nick: k.Nurse: Well she has a broken rib and a mildly sprained ankle that she’ll be able to walk on, but other than that just a few bumps, and bruises she’s going to have to spend a few nights here, just to be sure everything’s alright.Joe: can she have visitors? Nurse: Of course, do u have her parents’ number?Kevin: Uhh, no she’d rather not let her parents know, she lives in an uhh foster home, And they can’t afford the bills…Nurse: *Suspicious Look* Ok…The nurse goes away to finish up some things.Joe: *sarcastically* Smooth dude, she doesn’t suspect a thing.Michelle: Joe, I think you should go see her.Joe asks the nurse what room she’s in and goes to see Nicole.Nicole: Joe, wow, u waited thanks, Joe: how could I not? Any way, I heard your condition, and your foster parents aren’t being notified.Nicole *confused* what? My foster parents? Joe: *laughs a little* Its how Kevin got out of phoning your dad, the nurse thinks you have foster parents who can’t afford to pay the bills.Nicole: Joe,Joe: Yah?Nicole: Thanks for everything, if not for you, I could be dead right now. Joe: I’m just glad I could help *smiles*Nicole: Oh no! Your jacket! I forgot, it’s all bloody, if u leave it here ill wash it.Joe: No, don’t wash it, u in pain, but I will leave it here, I can’t stay the night so u’ll need something to remember me with. Oh and I almost forgot. *Hands her, her cell. Nicole: *blushes* aw thanks Nurse: Visiting hours are over now Sir.Joe: Well I guess I better go are you going to be okay until tomorrow?Nicole: yah I think so.In the waiting room,Kevin: think she’ll like it?Michelle: Ya, I do.Joe: Like what?Kevin: Oh Michelle helped me pick out a teddy for Nicole, that you can give her so she won’t be so lonely tonight.Joe: thx guys but visiting hours are over.Kevin: aw that sucks, but I have an idea.[what is kevins idea? will nicole be alright? are things heating up with Nick and Sarah?
